Just In Time

A couple of weeks ago I read on Smile and Wave about making pillow case dresses for little girls in Haiti. I thought I can make this, but I never got around to making it. So I was very happy to read this weekend on Smile and Wave that there was still some time to send dresses. I immediately got to work. I had this really pretty vintage pillow case and bias tape on hand. The only thing I wish I had was some green ric rac, but I still think it's really cute. I used this tutorial that was listed on Smile and Wave. This dress only took me 30 minutes to make. I was so happy to mail it out this morning. It makes me more happy to know a little girl will get to wear it.
