This is what I wore on this hot day. It's the perfect dress for keeping cool on hot days like we've been having. Today my cousin visited and I wanted to look a little more put together. I bought this dress at the thrift store, but it was huge and long. I liked the colors. I usually don't wear these colors, but this summer I made it a point to wear more color. I do wear a lot of stripes and I especially liked the chevron pattern in the front and the stripe in the back. I really didn't do much besides take in the sides and shorten it. The fabric is a lightweight cotton and keeps me cool. I hope to find more dresses like this.
This the what it looked before. It doesn't look as big on the dress form as it did on me.
Then we went to Carmela Ice Cream to keep even more cool.
