Summer Play Suit

I haven't sewn in a long time, and I know summer is coming to an end but I wanted to make this play suit for Evie. I used a vintage pattern. I love sewing from vintage patterns, because I love the classic styles that you just don't find so much these days. I had the pattern for a while but I didn't have the right fabric to sew it in. While thrift store shopping one day I found this vintage fabric and I immediately thought of the play suit pattern. I'm glad I found the fabric before the summer ended and that Evie will get to wear it a few more times! I think she looks so cute in it! It was fun to sew something again. The girls start school in a few days and I'm hoping I have more time to sew and get other things done while they are in school, so maybe I will be back here on my blog a little more often!
