We have been wanting to grow a vegetable garden for a while now, but unfortunately our yard is too small, so we never have. My mother in-law has a huge and beautiful garden and was so nice to have two garden beds built and had sprinklers installed, so we could grow a vegetable garden. This weekend we planted corn, sugar snap peas, carrots, lettuce, tomatoes, and strawberries. My mother in-law is an amazing gardener and Julia enjoys gardening with her all the time. Andrew and I both like to garden as well, so we really enjoyed doing this together.

We tried a vegetable garden last year but totally abandoned it when it got too hot outside! I am a total sucker for the A/C. Is that too bad?

How cool! That's something I'm for sure planning to do in the future. I'm sure Julia and Evie are loving every minute of it :)

So exciting...
I love veggie gardens...we are in the middle of construction in our backyard so my garden will be really late this year...its killing me that I can't start yet.

Have fun...

Wow! I'm super impressed. That's a nice looking strawberry plant. I have a black thumb. Plants pretty much just die under my care.
