We had a busy and fun filled Easter. Friday Andrew had the day off from work. Since we were going to be busy all day Easter with both of our families we decided we would have our own family Easter egg hunt on Friday. I knew the girls were going to get baskets from the grandparents, so I wanted to make some home made Easter baskets. I used this Martha Stewart DYI idea. Then had the girls stuff their baskets. Then we headed over to our favorite park and we hid cascacornes for them to find.
We had so much fun, especially cracking the eggs on each other.
On Easter we started the day off with my mother in-law. We had breakfast with her and she gave the girls their Easter baskets each filled with a bunny, and the girls hunted for eggs throughout her beautiful garden. Then we headed over to my parents house and did it all over again. Towards the end of the day there were definitely some sugar induced tantrums.
Easter Attire: Julia's dress a birthday gift from a friend/Tea . Evie's dress/handmade by mama.
