It was a nice 4th of July weekend for us. I wanted to post these pictures this weekend but I was enjoying my weekend too much. On the 4th of July we went over to a friends house. We did the usual 4th of July thing, relaxed and stuffed ourselves. By the time we left the girls were exhausted that I didn't think they were going to stay up and see the fireworks, but they were so excited to see them that they were able to. Thankfully we didn't have to go to far to see them, we just walked out our front door and walked across the street to see the show. Fireworks never get old.
The next day we took a trip to the beach. The girls spent the whole day digging up sand crabs, collecting seashells and rocks, and learned how to fly a kite. The rest of the weekend we relaxed and I got some sewing time in.
