Since the summer I have been neglecting my blog, but it's been for a good reason. Besides being busy with the girls and their school activities, I got a part-time job working at Common Thread Studio. It's a cute shop and sewing studio, and one of my favorite shops. They offer sewing classes and you can find one of kind items, and they carry the best fabrics. The job is temporary and I don't know how long they will keep me on, but I'm so grateful for the opportunity to work there. For someone who loves to sew this job is perfect for me and I'm having so much fun working there! Check out their website and read more about this wonderful shop!
The girls are growing right before my eyes. This weekend we celebrated Evie's 3rd birthday. We had a simple celebration with just family, balloons, and a cake. I felt a little guilty not planning a big bash for her, but I have been busy volunteering at Julia's school, working, and making Halloween costumes (that I'm still not done with) for the girls. I just didn't have time to plan one. But I didn't feel so guilty after I saw how much she enjoyed her birthday. Can you tell by her big smile in the picture below?
Here is another picture of these two. Julia lost two teeth within days of each other and Evie just wants to be like her big sister.
